Breaking and Binding for Protection
submitted by Lady Erzsebet.
If you think someone has placed a spell on you for harmful puposes, you can use this counterspell to break it. I've used it once with very good results, and several friends I've given it to have reported back very pleased.
To Break the powers of a Spell...
- black candle
- black bowl
PLACE THE CANDLE INTO THE BLACK BOWL, FIX THE CANDLE TO THE BOWL USING THE WAX DRIPPINGS FROM THE CANDLE SO THAT IT STANDS ALONE. FILL THE BOWL TO THE RIM WITH FRESH WATER, WITHOUT WETTING THE WICK. BREATHE DEEPLY AND MEDITATE FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES. WHEN YOUR MIND IS CLEAR, LIGHT THE CANDLE.
VISUALIZE THE POWER OF THE SPELL CAST AGAINST YOU AS LIVING WITHIN THE CANDLES FLAME. AS THE CANDLE BURNS DOWN, IT WILL SPLUTTER AND GO OUT AS IT TOUCHES THE WATER. AS IT IS EXTINGUISHED BY THE WATER, THE SPELL IS BROKEN FINALLY, DIG A HOLE IN TO THE GROUND, POUR THE WATER INTO IT, THEN BURY THE CANDLE.
Here's a binding spell to get rid of a harmful person. I haven't used it myself, but I know a few people who have, and they told me it worked great for them. Be sure to only use this when you feel that you or any of your loved ones are in danger. This is not a spell to use lightly, so please, if you use it, be very certain it's what you NEED, and most of all, be careful.
Binding Someone Who Is A Threat...
Take a piece of paper and write the name of the person that is to be bound on a 3"x3" piece of paper, using a black ink pen or a pencil.
While you do this visualize the face of the person on your mind. When you have written the name cross it with an inverted pentacle.
Fold the paper twice and take a rubber band and tie the paper with it. Raise it to your temple and chant three times the following...
"To be protected from you, This magic charm I will do, With this words I bind thee, For you to let me be, To be protected from your harm, I now seal this charm".
Now place the paper on your right shoe and slam your foot on the ground nine times (doesn't have to be so loud that everyone hears it) As you slam it the ninth time say...
"SO MOTE IT BE"
